Ghanaian fast-rising rapper, Black Sherif has implored his fans to stop comparing him to senior artistes such as Stonebwoy and Sarkodie.

He made this known via Twitter after the young talent’s introduction to the music has always been buzzing with loads of reactions from netizens.

He is been lauded for his continuous releases of good music and most importantly, his latest street jam, ‘Kweku The Traveller’ which became a viral global song.

With that, some music lovers now compare him with some senior artistes.

Speaking on the reactions of netizens, Black Sherif believes that it is disrespectful and needless for his career to be pitched against the seniors.

He said, “That’s being disrespectful and there is no need for it. People that really love me don’t do that. All those things are for retweets, likes, and reactions. I don’t believe in such things.

“I don’t believe in categories. I don’t know why but I don’t believe in categorizing artists. Everyone is unique in his own way. These are things we create in our head,” he said.
