GWR: Nigerian Chef Tope Maggie Completes 200hrs Of Cooking

Nigerian chef, Temitope Adebayo, better known as Tope Maggie has reportedly broken the Guinness World Record (GWR) for the longest cooking marathon for an individual in less than a month, surpassing Irish chef, Alan Fisher’s 119-hour and 57-minute record.

Recall that chef Fisher dethrones Hilda Baci as he breaks Guinness World Records with 119 hours of cooking. Note that Hilda Baci who hails from Akwa Ibom State cooked for 93 hours 11 minutes.
Chef Tope Maggie started his 200hrs cooking marathon on Thursday, 9 November 2023, at 6:31 p.m. and ended earlier on Saturday, 18 November 2023, at 2.31 a.m.

A video making the rounds online shows the moment people come out in huge numbers to celebrate chef Tope Maggie following his late feat as he set to break the Guinness World Record.
