Renowned Nigerian artist David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, took to social media to boast about his trip to watch Manchester City’s victorious Premier League match.
Davido was flown out of the country by PUMA, one of the major sponsors of Manchester City and a brand he represents in Nigeria.
The singer shared photos of himself boarding and disembarking the flight on Instagram, proudly attributing his spontaneous decision to watch the match to his affiliation with PUMA.
Accompanying the photos, Davido posted a series of tweets exchanged between himself and PUMA, highlighting his excitement about the opportunity.
He wrote, “Why wake up and just decide to hop on a plane to go see the English champions on the day they win the league? Well, when you got family like @pumafootball, the question is, why not?”
