DJ Roja said his cousin Christine Nampeera is doing fine and the family has been supportive following the leak of her private video.
“… all I can say is that she is fine… she is in a safe place… the family is with her and she is doing alright,” said Roja, real name Rogers Kitaka Nsubuga — while speaking to Anna Talia Oze on Sanyuka TV.
Roja said following the scandal people pestered him with questions and it got to his nerves to the extent that he suspended public appearances for three days until he decided whatever was going on was out of his control. and he needs to continue living his life.
“… people have been asking me about it, you hate it but you eventually get used. I myself was affected. I didn’t appear in public for three days but I reached a point and I was like, this is not making sense.”
While some people thought Nampeera and DJ Roja shared the same father and mother, the deejay said that it’s their mothers who are sisters.
He, however, noted that they grew up together and they were so close.
Roja said they are a prayerful family and God will help them overcome this.
Christine Nampeera, an internet personality and bar host, was filmed having sex with a man in a toilet in a bar.
Since the videos from that night leaked to the public she has not communicated through her social media platforms which have tens of thousands of followers.
Deejay Roja said all the statements have been attributed to her since are false.
