Engr Dr. Waheed Adekojo Funmilayo known as Funmi Ayinke has initiated a record label with three talented artists.
Funmi Ayinke signed on the three gospel acts Victory Patrick Omonaye a.k.a Omohsoke; Chibuike Timothy Onwuka a.k.a Timsingz; and Bamiduro Oluwayemisi Odunayo a.k.a Conffyghold to her recently launched label.
According to her, the three acts signed a two-year contract with the Funmi Ayinke record label.
She said, “Today is like a dream come true, having my label signing three artists in Nigeria, this is doing what I love to do best, humanitarian services, bringing hope to the hopeless so they can make it.”
She also said, apart from having the music talent, she saw the need to go into music when it was realized that many Nigerian youths don’t read but prefer to listen to songs.
She expanded that the record label commenced three months ago out of the need to develop a platform to train and improve some of the talents she found through the competition she organizes on her Instagram page as it has always been part of her to engage in humanitarian services in every sector of the society.
