Kim Kardashian opens up about her approach to dating, learning from past mistakes, and taking her time to find a new partner in an interview on the On Purpose With Jay Shetty podcast.
“I definitely will take my time, and I think there’s so many factors especially when you have kids and being mindful of people that enter in your life,” Kim said, emphasizing the importance of being cautious in her dating life.
Reflecting on her previous relationships, including her three marriages, Kim expressed her desire to avoid repeating past mistakes. “If I can look at everything that I did wrong and try to not make the same mistakes and really take my time, I think it just has to be different for me,” she explained.
While Kim remains hopeful about finding love again, she acknowledged the complexities of dating. “There’s so many factors, but I’ll always believe in love and I’ll always want that and I think that’s such a magical part of life. But I think I’m so comfortable taking my time to not rush it,” she shared.
Kim emphasized the importance of mutual respect in a relationship and treating people with respect. She believes that having a foundation of respect can contribute to the longevity of a partnership.
Despite her pursuit of love, Kim emphasized that she doesn’t rely on others to make her happy. She finds contentment in her children, family, and life experiences.
Kim’s previous marriage to rapper Kanye West ended in 2021, and she has since dated comedian Pete Davidson for nine months before their split in 2022. Currently, Kim is focusing on her own happiness and taking her time in her dating journey.
