Deputy Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture, Mark Okraku Mantey believes no patriotic Ghanaian will pay attention to self-styled advocate for change, Twene Jonas.
Speaking on Hitz FM’s Daybreak Hitz this morning, Mr. Okraku Mantey said Twene Jonas is just fond of ranting on social media but fails to sell the positive side of the country to the world.
He asked Ghanaians to ignore his rants.
According go Modern Ghana, Twene Jonas has over time gained prominence on social media where he voices out topical national issues.
He has on several editions of his live social media sessions compared developmental projects of the diaspora and Ghana amidst insults to leaders, an action he believes will help them ‘sit up’.
Twene Jonas has constantly taken swipes at the incumbent party, NPP, pointing out alleged ‘selfish and corrupt’ ways.
According to the Deputy Minister, there is no need for Ghanaians to take Twene Jonas who is based in the UK serious.
“Don’t copy Twene Jonas … I am ready for the response but the responsible Ghanaian won’t listen to him. I have spoken the truth and responsible Ghanaians won’t listen to him.
“He will only tell me I am a fool… but you see Ghanaians instead of frowning on such things are excited. Who will sell your country for you?” he told host Andy Dosty.
