The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), SouthWest Zone, has announced plans to picket the headquarters office of Multi-Choice Nigeria in Lagos on Monday, May 15.

The picketing is to protest what they called the “incessant increment” in Multi-Choice’s DSTV/GoTV subscription charges.

In a statement jointly signed by NANS officials, they expressed that Nigerians, particularly students and low-income families, cannot continue to bear arbitrary increases in subscription charges.

The group had sent a letter to the company’s head office in Lagos but received no response.

As a result, they have vowed to take their demands to the company’s head office in a peaceful protest.
