Presidential Candidate, Raila Odinga vows to combat corruption in Kenya

The Azimio la Umoja One Kenya presidential candidate, Raila Odinga has pledged to combat corruption in Kenya, noting that the country is on the verge of a third liberation.

He stated his while addressing public rallies in Nairobi, stating that his Kenya Kwanza Alliance rival Deputy President William Ruto, has nothing new to offer Kenyans.

Raila described the August General Election as historic, equating it to the 1963 and 2002 elections, which marked a change in the country’s leadership.

According to him, his first agenda after ascending to power is to lower the cost of living and cushion Kenyans against harsh economic times.

“We will combat corruption which has led to Kenyans suffering since resources needed for development have ended up in the pockets of a few selfish people who are trying by means to continue being in leadership,” Karua said.
