The skipper of Nigeria’s Super Falcons Onome Ebi has dispelled the rumour that they are planning to boycott their opening game at the World Cup.

The Nigerian team has been at the loggerhead with the Nigeria Football Federation over a bonus issue and rumours emanated from a certain section of the media on Friday that the players are planning to boycott the first match as a sign of protest.

Ebi while speaking through the NFF media discountenance the rumour emphasising their readiness for the game.

“We don’t have such conversations and I don’t know if there is anything like that.

We are training and the mood in the camp is very good, we are ready for the World Cup”, she said.
