2023 Women’s World Cup: French Club Celebrates Super Falcons Goalkeeper

Following her heroic performance against Canada, French Side Paris FC Feminine has celebrated Super Falcons goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie.

Nnadozie who is currently the first-choice goalkeeper of the club saved a penalty in the course of the game and ensured that Nigeria got a draw from the encounter.

The club through its official website greeted the goalkeeper and hope she has a better outing again in the next match.

” In the early hours of Friday marked Nigeria’s entry into the 2023 World Cup.

Thanks to a penalty saved by Chiamaka Nnadozie at the start of the second half, the Super Falcons hooked Canada (0-0). Captain of the selection, Chiamaka Nnadozie was elected player of the match thanks to this clean sheet.

Nigeria will face host country Australia on Thursday, July 27 at noon. French time”, the club statement said.

Nnadozie was nominated for awards last season but finished second behind Olympique Lyon’s goalkeeper on both occasions.
