The World Athletics has announced the date for the 2024 Okpekpe race normally held in Nigeria.
According to the update from WA, The 10th edition of the historic Okpekpe International 10km Road Race will be held on Saturday, May 25, 2024.
WA has confirmed 167 road races for the year and the Okpekpe race is the first gold-level 10km road race that will be held in 2024.
Apart from the prizes that are involved, the race will also serve as a qualifying event for the Paris 2024 Olympics.
