Barely 2 weeks to the start of the 2026 World Cup qualifier, Nigeria’s Super Eagles midfielder Wilfred Ndidi remains a big doubt for the games.

Super Eagles will host the Crocodiles of Lesotho in the opening group game at the Goodswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo before traveling to Rwanda for the second game against the Warriors of Zimbabwe.

Ndidi has been out of action for Leicester City in the past few days and the club manager Enzo Maresca has confirmed that he will be out of action for some weeks.

After missing the last Championship game against Sunderland, certainly, the Nigerian International will not be available for this weekend’s game against Leeds United.

Nigeria will host Lesotho on the 16th of November before facing Zimbabwe a few days later.
