The Shooting Stars Sports Club of Ibadan has attributed the One nil loss of the team to Nnewi United in the match day nine of the Nigeria National League (NNL) to the bad state of the Rojenny Stadium’s Pitch.
3SC Spokesman, Tosin Omojola stated this while chatting with our reporter via WhatsApp
Omojola further said that the poor state of the pitch in Rojenny Stadium, Oba, Anambra state was worse than the pitch experienced at the Ogwashi-Ukwu Stadium, home of Delta Force in one of the previous game.
“Shooting Stars play better on good pitches, the pitch the team met in Ogwashi-Ukwu was bad but the pitch of Rojenny Stadium in Oba was even worse, thus affecting the free flow of good football 3SC is known for”, he posited.
The media officer added that though the bad pitches calls for concern but it will not deter the Oluyole Warriors from picking the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL ticket) at the end of the season.
According to him, the team is battle ready to pick the NPFL ticket and would not be distracted by poor pitches of stadia used in the second tier league.
He further revealed that the oluyole warriors is poised to pick the maximum points when it trade tackle with Vandrezzar FC in the match day ten of the NNL this weekend.
Omojola on a final note lauded the giant strides of Governor Seyi Makinde in returning the traditional team to the top tier league and also thanked the supporters of the team for their support so far.
