The round of 16 Agidigbo fm/Oyo State Governor’s Cup 2021 round of 16 matches took place at two different match centres today. The boys has being separated from the Men.
At Eruwa centre, Balogun Fc played out a 1-1 draw with Mighty Crown Fc after the regulation time, the game went into penalties. Balogun Fc won 6-5 and they are through to the quarter final of the Governor’s Cup.
While in Iseyin centre, the game between Lanlate Fc vs Okere Babes also finished 1-1 draw. But after penalty shootout, Okere Babes won 8-7. And they are also through to the quarter final where they will take on Okeho Fc come 3pm on Thursday.
Meanwhile, Lanlate Fc has filed a protest letter to the disciplinary committee about a certain player named Adebisi Ayorinde who had one time played for Lubcos Fc Ilorin in an NLO division 2 League.
The disciplinary committee will on Wednesday meet with the two clubs for the final verdict.
