Africa soccer governing body (CAF) has announced the venues for this year’s finals of Champions League and Confederation cup, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The football body who is presently having its executive meeting in Kigali, Rwanda rose up and decided on the venues.
CAF announced Complexe Mohammed V in Casablanca, Morocco as the venue for final of the Champions League while Cotonou, Benin Republic was named as the host of final of the Confederation Cup.
Cairo international stadium hosted the final of last champions league which Al Ahly defeated rival Zamalek while Morocco hosted the final of COnfederation cup where RS Berkane thrashed FC Pyramids of Egypt 1-0.
Both competitions are still in the quarter final stage
The finals are slated for July this year.
