Nigeria’s representative in the CAF Confederation Cup Rivers United have been handed a tough draw in the competition’s quarter-final as they have been drawn to face the Tanzania side Young African.
The Nigerian champions qualified for the quarter-final of the competition last weekend despite suffering a 1-0 defeat to ASEC Mimosa of Coted’Ivoire.
Young Africans on their part finished on top of the group D with 13 points after they secured a 0-1 away win against TP Mazembe of DR Congo.
In the draw conducted on Wednesday in Cairo, Egypt, Rivers United will host the first leg at home before travelling to Tanzania for the second leg match.
