Ahead of the second round of the CAF Confederation Cup, defending champions Zamalek SC has announced a new manager.
Jose Gomez, who led to the match day 2 game against the People’s Elephant, dumped the team immediately after the game.
The team has been without a coach since then, they even played the day 3 match against Al Masry with an interim manager.
The team board on Wednesday afternoon announced Christian Gross as the coach of the team. It will be the second time the Swiss tactician will be working with the Egyptian giant.
Zamalek will host Enyimba International on day 5 of the Confederation Cup at the Cairo International Stadium.
