Following his amazing performance, England-born, Nigeria descent Chuba Akpom has been nominated for the Player of the Month on two fronts.
Having won the PFA fans player of the month in November 2022 and January 2023, the hardworking attacker has been nominated for the same award for February.
Akpom who scored 5 goals in February will compete with Nathan Tella (Burnley), Viktor Gyokeres (Coventry City), Tom Bradshaw (Millwall), Tom Ince (Reading) and Joel Piroe (Swansea City.
Meanwhile, the EFL also named him among their best players.
This time, Chuba Akpom is in contention with three challengers which include Tom Bradshaw (Millwall), Hjalmar Ekdal (Burnley) and Kyle McFadzean (Coventry City).
It should be noted that Chuba Akpom has scored 21 goals this season for Middlesbrough
