Nigeria’s Super Eagles winger Moses Simon opened his goals account for this season in FC Nantes victory over AJ Auxerre.
Simon played his first competitive game for the Yellow Submarine in the last 3 months after missing later part of last season due to injury.
Nantes defeated Auxerre 2-0 on Sunday evening and it was Simon who netted the opening goal in the 18th minute and put the host in firm control of the game.
Guirassy sealed the game for the host in the 96th minute as the game ended 2-0 for Nantes.
