The head coach of Shooting Stars Sports Club – Gbenga Ogunbote, has emerged as the inaugural Chairman of the newly established Nigeria Premier League Managers Association.
The League’s Club managers converged in Lagos, on Sunday, 11th June 2023, to launch their association, and elect executives that will cater to their affairs, development, and welfare.
During the meeting, 3SC coach Gbenga Ogunbote aka the Oracle was elected the Chairman, while head coach of Rangers Abdul Makaiba emerged as Vice-Chairman.
Other executives elected were Remo Stars technical adviser Daniel Ogunmodede as Secretary, Kabiru Dogo of Kwara United as Treasurer, and Sunshine Stars’ coach Edith Olumide Agoye, was elected as the Association’s Public Relations Officer.
These appointments are tasked with the welfare and affairs of the NPL managers, for the period before the next Congress, when a proper election will be conducted.
