After missing out on the 2023 FIBA World Cup, Nigeria’s D’Tiger will have another opportunity to take to the court before the end of the year.
The former African champion missed out on the World Cup losing the ticket to Cape Verde.
Lagos State Nigeria has been selected as the venue for the Paris 2024 Pre-qualifying tournament and it will take place in August 2023.
Nigeria’s DTigers have been posted into Pot 1 with Tunisia, Pot 2 has Senegal and Cameroon, Pot 3 consists of DR Congo and Uganda and Pot 4 include Mali and Guinea.
The tournament will serve as a qualification for the proper Olympics qualifiers.
