Liverpool attacker Mohamed Salah is a key target for Real Madrid in the summer of 2022, according to a report. The Egypt international is yet to extend his stay at Anfield beyond the summer of 2023, and speculation over his long-term future continues to intensify.
Salah is reportedly close to agreeing a new long-term contract with the Reds, but Barcelona are still thought to be keeping a close eye on developments.
However, Bernabeu Digital reports that Salah is still a priority target for Real Madrid, although the capital outfit’s main target is still Kylian Mbappe.
The report added that Salah’s entourage have now been contacted by Real Madrid ahead of a possible summer move, although a deal for the ex-Chelsea and Roma man would still be ‘really complicated’.
Salah’s assist for Diogo Jota’s strike in Saturday’s win over Southampton saw him record his 150th goal involvement in the Premier League after only 171 games.
