Despite scoring a brace in the game against FC Nuremberg, Nigeria’s Super Eagles and Eintracht Braunschweig striker Anthony Ujah has shifted attention to the next game.
The former Union Berlin attacker scored twice on Saturday afternoon in their 2-2 draw against Nuremberg.
Ujah lamented the outcome of the game but quickly shifted focus to the next match.
“I’m always happy to be able to help the team with my goals.
Today went very well for me, I scored twice. We won’t leave the pitch as losers, even if it’s annoying that we conceded two goals. We can live with that point.
We didn’t play the way we planned, but the league is strong and the opponent was very good today. We knew it was important not to lose the game.
The support from the fans helped us a lot today. Now there is a lot to correct, I hope we can do better in the next game”, he said.
Braunschweig will face Hansa Rostock in their next league game on Sunday.
