Fringe player for the Super Eagles, Izunna Uzochukwu is being deported from his base in Denmark.

Despite the fact that the player has a girlfriend and daughter living in the Scandinavian country.

Uzochukwu lost his permanent residency in Denmark when he was transferred to Chinese club, MZ Hakka in January, 2018.

The Danish Immigration Board cancelled the midfielder’s permanent residency permit after his transfer to China in 2018.

Despite argument by the player that he had girlfriend and daughter living in Denmark, he was told that the address of the daughter differed from his own even as it argued that the daughter was born after he left for China.

His several visits to Denmark while playing for the Chinese club were classified as holiday visits by the Danish Immigration Board.

Uzochukwu’s matter has been compounded by the fact that his appeal to higher authority has been rejected, meaning he must leave the Scandinavian country as soon as possible if he’s to escape being forcefully ejected.

Before his transfer to China, Uzochukwu had lived in Denmark for over 15 years racking up over 200 appearances for Danish top flight clubs: FC Midtjylland and OB Odense.
