Italian Serie A side Torino has refused to permanently sign Nigerian International David Okereke.
Okereke arrived at Toro in January. After the departures of Karamoh, Seck and Radonjic on loan, he needed a striker to partner with Zapata, Sanabria and Pellegri.
The Nigerian arrived on loan from Cremonese, although he had struggled with the grey-reds in Serie B in the first part of the season, in the past in Serie A with Venezia and Cremonese he had shown good performance.
However, he didn’t make an impact in the club having played 9 matches.
He will return to Cremonese who will also be campaigning in the elite division next season.
