It was mixed feelings for Nigeria’s Super Eagles defender Kenneth Omeruo whose goal counted for little in Kasimpasa’s defeat to Galatasaray.

Omeruo rejoined the Turkish Super Lig side this summer from the Spanish Second Division side CD Leganes and he has been a regular in the team since then.

They played away to Galatasaray on Friday evening and it was the Ivorian winger Wilfred Zaha who scored a first-half brace to peg back Kasimpasa.

The former Chelsea defender rose to the occasion in the second half to reduce the deficit in the 54th minute and earned his team a respectable scoreline.

Despite the defeat, Kasimpasa stays 5th on the log with 18 points.
