English Championship side Watford FC is leading the race to sign Nigeria’s Flying Eagles midfielder Daniel Daga.
According to Watford reporter, Mike McGrath the Nigerian youth international was spotted at the Vicarage Road last weekend when the Hornets faced Queens Park Rangers in the opening day of the season.
At just 16, he’s already made 10 appearances for Nigeria’s U20s and caught the eye during the summer’s U20s World Cup.
He currently plays for FC One Rocket in his native but spent time on loan with Dakkada FC last season.
Watford is working to snatch him away from the grasps of top European clubs with Champions League teams said to have tracked him during his successful summer with the Nigerian U20s.
