With less than 3 days to the end of the summer transfer window, Wolverhampton Wanderers has joined Crystal Palace as one of the clubs jostling for the services of the Nigeria International Kelechi Iheanacho.

Palace last week approached Leicester City for the services of the Super Eagles attacker but they are yet to get a green light from the King Power stadium.

The Foxes striker is one of many players who have been linked with a summer exit after Leicester’s relegation to the Championship.

Wolves on Monday opened a discussion with Leicester City for Iheanacho who has 12 months left on his contract.

Iheanacho scored five goals in 28 Premier League appearances in 2022/23 and has scored just once so far this season as his future at Leicester remains up in the air.

The Nigerian international has previously been linked with a move to Turkey with Besiktas claiming to have made a loan offer.
