Ahead of the Wednesday semi-final clash against Nigeria’s Falconets, the head coach of Benin’s Amazon Abdoulaye Ouzerou has said they will do their best in the game.
The Benin U20 Women’s team will have their hands full when they confronted Falconets who have scored 16 goals in the ongoing championship in Kumasi.
Despite losing their final group game, Benin finished second behind Ghana and set up a clash against the tournament favourite, Nigeria.
“From that moment, you have to recognize your place. We recognize our place.
“we are going to make ourselves small and do what we know how to do best like we did against Ghana and it worked for 40 minutes, ” he said.
They resumed training in Kumasi on Tuesday morning ahead of the game slated for Wednesday.
