Super Eagles shot-stopper, Stanley Nwabali has said that criticism from individuals only act as a source of motivation to boost his game.
Speaking in the post-match interview after Nigeria defeated South Africa 4-2 on penalties to advance to the final of the AFCON, Nwabali noted that criticism happens in football.
His words: “Today is not to talk about my critics, it happens in football but I see it as a source of motivation for me to keep doing well for my country.”
Nwabali, who put up a great performance in the AFCON semi-finals game with South Africa, saved two penalties during the shootout to help Nigeria progress to the final.
