King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has concluded the implementation of the emergency voluntary medical project in the fields of gynecological oncology, vascular surgery and pediatric surgery in Banjul, Republic of Gambia, with the participation of seven male and female volunteers, it was reported here today.
During the campaign, which took place on Saturday, KSrelief voluntary medical team performed 66 urgent life-saving surgeries, all of which were crowned with complete success.
The project comes within the framework of the support provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through its humanitarian arm, KSrelief, to support the medical sector in Gambia and to consolidate the culture of volunteerism among members of Saudi society in accordance with the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
