The head coach of the Teranga Lions of Senegal Aliou Cisse has set his eyes on winning the 2023 African Cup of Nations trophy in Coted’Ivoire.
Senegal is presently the defending champion of the competition after they emerged as winners in the 2021 edition beating Egypt in the final.
Cisse said are not tired and they are ready to successfully defend their title by the time competition commences in 2024.
“The question is whether I will continue or not. A lot of people ask themselves, wondering if I’m worn out or tired. No, I’m not worn out and I’m not tired.
We are preparing our list for March to defend our title and bring back a second African Cup trophy here.
So yes we are ready to do our best to bring this team back as far as possible”, he said.
