2023 AFCON: Super Eagles Storm Ivory Coast, Ready For Competition

Ahead of the commencement of the 34th edition of the African Cup of Nations, Nigeria’s Super Eagles have landed in Ivory Coast the venue of the competition.

The team returned to the country on Tuesday after having a 10-day training camp in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

They were hosted to a dinner by the governor of Lagos State Babajide Sanwolu who encouraged the players to give their best in the tournament.

The team departed the shore of the country in the early hours of Wednesday and touched down in Abidjan the capital of Ivory Coast in the afternoon of the same day.

Super Eagles will face Equatorial Guinea in the opening group game of the competition on Sunday.
