Though they are down after losing the home game, the technical adviser of Rivers United Stanley Eguma and the captain Austin Festus said they remained positive ahead of the second leg.

Congolese striker Fiston Mayele netted a brace to give the Young Africans a 2-0 advantage going into the second leg.

During a press conference on Saturday afternoon, Eguma said they have corrected the mistakes that cost them the first leg and they are prepared for the clash on Sunday.

“The 90 minutes we played in Nigeria is an advantage for Young Africans and we have another 90 minutes to play here in Dar es Salaam, that is why we are here.

“For the match in Nigeria, we made some mistakes which cost us the game and we’ve corrected those mistakes and hoping to have a better result.

“We are here with a positive mind and in a game of football, you can not predict what will happen. The match is not over, we still have 90 minutes to contest the game”, he said.

In the same vein, skipper, Austin said, “We are here in Tanzania and so far we don’t have any problem, we are looking forward to the game on Sunday and we are ready.

“We lost at home 0-2 gave Young Africans an advantage over us but tomorrow (today) it will be a different ball game, we are here to fight back.

We have 90 minutes to fight and in the end, we will come out victorious”, he said.

The game will come up at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium in Dar es Salaam, the capital of Tanzania
