The 73rd edition of the FIFA Congress was held in Kigali, Rwanda on Tuesday and the country’s President Paul Kagame was awarded for his support for African football.

Kagame got CAF outstanding achievement award alongside Morocco’s Majesty Mohammed VI for their immense contribution to the game.

In his reactions, Kagame said African best legs don’t need to leave the continent for Europe

“Our best players in Africa should not always leave for Europe and other places to play football.

We should make sure we provide for them what attracts them to leave Africa so they stay and play here”, he said.
